There was an earthquake triggered on Saturday morning when the system was running..
Coincidence.. l think not :)

Having lived in California for most of my life, I've experienced quite a few in my time and I'd say a magnitude 5.6 is about spot on for your system. Well done mate, well done.

Bill Fitzmaurice wrote: Wed Aug 21, 2024 1:05 pm The wider the horn mouth the narrower the dispersion. It's 180 degrees when the radiating plane is 1 wavelength, where it's less than that it's wider than 180 degrees. From there it narrows as you go higher in frequency. It's different at every frequency, so any quoted angle is a broadband average.

BTW, inductors at wagneronline.com.au/ and www.theloudspeakerkit.com don't seem all that high priced. Twice that than the US, but everything down under is.
Coming back to the original topic, hopefully someone could clarify the dispersion angles by giving some dispersion angle comparison between the different speaker models. I am looking for wide dispersion angle/close audience.
According to the "Which DR for me?" post, the DR200 has an average horizontal dispersion angle of 120 degrees.
Could someone give the approximate horizontal dispersion angles for the OmniTop 8 (CD version) and the OmniTop 12 (CD version) also, so its easier to decide between the three models?
That'd be very helpful. Thank You very much, Peter

So, actual dispersion angles can only be done through measurement. However, you can easily calculate the frequency at which beaming starts to occur, which is still useful.

The widest dispersion comes with the melded array.
