Gave it one Duratex coat with the foam texture roller, let it dry a couple hours, then gave it a second coat and blotted it with a plastic bag to give it a bit of a faux leather type texture. I wasn't super excited by the roller texture.
Attached the corners and handles this morning. Next up is foam inside, gasket for the back, and then the wiring.

I've always used the textured rollers that I bought from Leland at Speakerhardware years ago. Those are the ones I used. It was definitely too rough for my liking...felt a bit like sandpaper. Got the foam glued and stapled. I haven't decided where I want to mount the crossover so that bottom piece of foam isn't attached yet.
Where do most people attach it? Inside the cab on the bottom? Or attached to the back panel?

Yep, if you don't go back over it - dry-rolling it very lightly with just the weight of the roller - it will definitely feel like sandpaper. Your finish looks good....and if you're happy, that's all that matters.

I have a feeling there's going to be more building in my future to upgrade our practice space PA.
