In like 12 months
You must have a sweet job and an abundance of disposable income. I miss those days, no dependants or mortgage
Have you been getting many gigs with your existing rig? Best of luck mate.
re: Cutting freehand - That's what P.L. is for right?
I've clamped my sled on either end, on every single cut on all 5 of my cabs, I love my kit too much to risk it.
At work I'll often ping a chalk line to cut down the finished height of a completed fence or gate but for cutting anything 'classy' I'll always use a straight edge for a guide, I've got from 600 up to 6000 these days and I wouldn't be without them for all the money in the world.
If you look along the edge of two completed decks, one cut on a drop saw and laid to a line, the other overlaid and cut off in one go in situ, the later always, always looks better
I digress..... Long day at work, so stoked to watch another mammoth build of T60's hope it all goes well, post rig sound check vids on completion for sure!
