Bill, you do realise you just quoted something in Metric!

On a related question, does it make any difference if the finish is smooth or rough?
Built:
6xDR200, 2xT39, 2xT48, 2xJack110, 1xOmni10.5, 1xAutotuba, 1xT18, 1xSLA Pro, 1xW8, 1xW10

I said I don't care for it. Never said I couldn't use it.

Hello again!
Im building my second OT12 at the moment, but i want to add a grill! I saw the wooden part used to mount the grills in the plans!
But i can't figure out how to best mount the grill and place the 4(?) wooden parts that need to be glued to the reflectors of the OT12.
Also the plans state to add a tick weatherstrip to the melded array, but there are no straight edges where i can tape it to or should i put theme on the grill?
Does anyone have some pictures to make me better understand how to add the grill?

Soon i will start the build of the two T30 subs. But i am wondering if i should go for the 24" or 27" T30?
The drivers i will use are the Delta 12LFA, i had theme laying around so why not use theme.
The tops are 2 OT112 with a DELTALITE 2512 II driver and melded array.
I think i would prefer the 24" cause they are more compact to move around and fit our new car.
I don't know if there is much difference between the 24" en 27" version but i don't want my tops to overpower my subs.

Just wanted to try this :D

Hey man,

Really nice looking build! You should be proud if that's your first. What are you doing your cuts with...they look really clean.

Thank you!

It is my very first build :D.

Im using an new tool i bought for the job!

It is very useful, light easy to use, you can do circles with a special tool!, ... The only drawback you cant do angles so for that i use a circular saw, after that i sand theme a bit.

Do yourself a favor and build T39s. They use the same drivers as the T30 but get louder above 35Hz.

Since you play electronic music, you want the higher sensitivity in the sub.

Hello,

You made me rethink the subbs i planning to build. But i already bought the plans for the T30.
Maybe the T39 is easier to move around and to transport. Can you V couple theme too?
Is the T39 that much better than the T30?

Should i go 16" 20" or 24"?

Probably depends on what you are using them for. If you are good getting down to 40-45hz and don't need to go lower - then by all means, build the T39s. Much easier to move at 19 inches deep and louder. Build 'em with the 3012LF and you'll be blown away. Yes, you can v-plate 'em. Make as wide as you can handle.

And hey....what's another 15 bucks at this point, right?

6 - T39 3012LF
4 - OT12 2512
1 - T24
1 - SLA Pro
2 - XF210
