Re: Carvin XD88

I like the price of the behringer, but I've had multiple things from them just stop working only after one or 2 uses under very light conditions and I treat all my equipment very gently, especially all my racks and anything with a tube in it.

Re: Carvin XD88

Aside from the software glitches, was it an overall good product? Is it worth getting or should I just get something else? I hate the behringer stuff, I really haven't had a whole lot of good luck. I have a DEQ and used it like twice and it doesnt even turn on anymore...Though I have just the basic ...

V-couple a few tintan/tuba subs up and see if its not loud enough. If its not something (hearing loss, just plain def) must be wrong (crappy build quality, hope that doesnt happen with mine  ).

The only one that had any proble...

The wood I got from Lowes was pretty good looking, much better than anything else in any stores I've ever seen and $30 cheaper per sheet compared to the BB from the only place around for me to get it at.

I think its the fact that the DR's (EQ'd properly) will sound better than the OT's, reguardless of the SPL. The DR250's might be the same, but the 280, 290 and 300 are louder. I don't have either, so I can't really say what's better, but with the DR250's, you can stack them and have them get louder,...

There aren't always local hardware stores around anymore. I know in NJ there are a few lumber yards but a lot of em don't deal with the general public so its tough.

You can use speaker stands, lighting stands PVC or extra wood to build a little spray booth and just hang news paper or old sheets to catch the over spray.
