Lot of Jack 10 accessories

100 years ago I bought enough stuff to make a Jack 210 and 2 Jack 10s. I built the 210. So here's a bunch of stuff to build 2 110s. 16 corners 14 piezo horns 2 crossover sets (built by speaker hardware, also 100 years ago) 8 feet. I'm just looking to get shipping costs covered, and I want the stuff ...

Re: Jack 210 with the worst supporting PA equipment ever.

So I just heard an Electro Voice system with a pair of 12s on the same field and...thanks, Bill. My faith in your speakers is absolute.

Re: Jack 210 with the worst supporting PA equipment ever.

I built it as a bass cab with no tweets, but threw a flat array on it when I found out I'd be using it for PA duty. I ran from my Micromix to the EQ (which I barely had to adjust for spoken word stuff) and into the effects return of my bass amp, since I don't have a sufficient power amp for such an ...

Jack 210 with the worst supporting PA equipment ever.

I built my Jack 210 about a year ago and used it for a while as a bass cabinet, which it did pretty well, but since I have three kids and no time in my life I never got it out to a gig. Recently our youth soccer club had our jamboree and we weren't allowed to use the schools PA like we usually do. I...

:horse:

Maybe just do one side in plexiglass.

You can still see inside everything, but there are the problems of bonding plastic to wood and keeping the inside of your build clean :owned: .

But, what if I wanted to put an LPad on my piezos? How would I go about making that work?

If I'm reading the OP right, this sounds like the biggest problem.

Re: Listening in the band

I have to confess that when I started singing (which I have mostly quit doing), I had a helluva time keeping time unless the vocals jived right up with the rhythm. I feel his pain a little. Not so much that he should get a pass when he says he can't try to give you a listen, but a little.

A lot of glue is relative. Not a lot to me might still be way more than you used. That said, if you are going to err on one side or the other, go with lots of glue :).

Re: First gig with a dual lab12 T60

I'm thinking two t60 slims v-plated with minor woodworking additions AS the bed. Slightly OT; could two subs in a separate pass band be used to weed out room modes? I've had that rolling around in my head as an option for fixing a bad room, and it seems like with proper planning it would work, but w...

Re: TLAH PRO Build

One question I should start thinking about here is voltage..what should my limiters be set out? how do I compute appropriate voltage for each tower? :feedback: thanks! I asked the same thing about my Jack and was told the equivalent of, "turn it down when it sounds crappy." The big reason...

Re: Calculating maximum voltage for a driver

In it's current configuration it sets by voltage. One the changes requested by many was to also set by wattage. Awesome. What I love is that Eminence will add what is the equivalent of a randomized progress bar to placate people who don't realize they are setting their limiter to control vol...

Re: Australian Jack Stack

One thing that I've grown to really enjoy in the last year of hanging out here is the subtle differences in everyone's choices. The crossover is a tiny detail that no one sees, but everyone does just a little bit differently, even though the net result is the same. Neat. That is a nice build and I'l...

This octagonal outer edge would have saved me much grief with my crappy tools; such a simple thing to overlook :noob: . Live and learn.

Nice build.
