Re: No more studio - but Cornhole!

Being from europe i have no idea what this cornhole deal is but those things do look nice!
I hope you get back on your feet after the studio debacle.
I'm certain someone with your skills and motivation will be ok in the end.

Re: Compression horn tips, tricks

. Just don't go at an angle and get your thumb! Always make sure your fingers are no where near the area you shoot brads. They can bend unpredictable to all sides and get you when you don't expect! And believe me it hurts when you got to get it back out. They are a very very handy piece of kit that...

Re: Help with a church sound setup

Sounds like a plan to me. With the lower and upper cabs on differrent amp channels you can adjust the levels for a more or less even volume across the room. Same for your center speaker. With that on a seperate channel that to can be adjusted for an even level across the room. I don't know about the...

If that's the same one as in the Otop Jarray then +1. That would cut a big piece of the build time

You could print the horn for the compression driver option with a 3d printer. It would save you from cutting those small fiddly bits.

Then you will think we belgians are total wankers. Most people here consider everyting over an hour a long drive! Belgium is a tiny bit smaller then the us though 😎

Re: Troubleshoot a pair of DR250

The guy paid for the repair . The systems wasn't actually abused then. Reason was a generator doing funny things if i remember correctly. Unfortunately i don't have the time to accompany the system every time i goes out. Most people wouldn't want to pay for that either. But you are correct, lots of ...

Re: Troubleshoot a pair of DR250

I have had problems with my dr 250 tweeter array after a rental. Problem was crossover was shot. And some tweeter elements had died. Had a try without the crossover then and i can tell you that's no boueno. Sounds much better with the correct crossover! I now program a brickwall limiter for the tops...

Re: HT Build: TLAH, SLA curved, TTLS

My tlah baffles are made out of 1/2 birch plywood and didn't give me any trouble. Plywood doesn't split like solid wood might do. Just make sure u use screws that aren't too long and show through.
Mine are painted white the plys can be seen but i like that.

Re: HT Setup for a newbie

hello, i have 2 tlah's for the mains , a curved sla as center, 2ttls in opposite corner for the lows and my own 2 driver triangular creation as surrounds. arranged in a 7.1 setup. for me this is as good as it gets. the atmos setup doesn't make that much of a differrence in my experience. so i think ...
