Re: Titan 39 Build

I've had several behringer amps, 2 dcx's, 2 3way crossovers and some of their powered speakers. I've never experienced issues with them and i rent my stuff out so you can bet it has been abused. Ironiccly the one amp i've had the most trouble with is a crown xti2000, altough it was second hand. So i...

Re: Upgrading AVR or so I thought

If the sub can't keep up, the calibration probably turned the rest down. Time to build the tactical nuke (tht) to go with the howitzers

Re: Makita cordless circular saw (36v?)

The 7.25 saw is more suited for cutting solid lumber like 2x4. It has a lot more torque and a bit more cutting depth. It's a bit heavier to because of that. The 6.5 saw is enough for cutting plywood or osb or ... I personally have the Milwaukee versions so i can't speak of quality difference. Greetz...

Re: Titan 39 Build

I am one of the exceptions that would use it for work (like my dad does). My van isn't ideal on the muddy worksite's. My brother in law has a ford ranger that can tow the big trailers but you can feel it's at it's max when at max payload. But you are correct that most of the american pickups here ar...

It's a shame the big pickups are so much more expensive over here.

Re: Titan 39 Build

150€ is peanuts compared to what you pay for a private car. My bmw 320 is around 500€ and my impreza is 420 + 170 because it's got lpg. I'm glad we don't get to see guns on a daily basis here ! The biggest trailers we see around here are 3500kg max total weight(7700 pounds) and not many cars are all...

Re: Titan 39 Build

Damn. I'll bet your dad gets hit hard with road tax!!
Actually any pickup is just around 150€ yearly taxes because it's considered a commercial vehicle like a van.

Re: Titan 39 Build

Yes , a normal size pickup truck over here is a ford ranger. A ford f150 is considered huge. A f150 raptor is just short of a monstertruck 😅. My dad drives a ram 1500 and can't park in any normal parkingspace 🙄

Re: DIY Rack Patch Panel Q

One like that should be fine for speaker and rack building. Just make sure you get repeatable results. Especially if you're make higher voltage connections

Re: Cabinet buzz

Indeed, something inside must be resonating at a certain frequency. I've had something similar in my workshop. Something was rattling on certain songs and drove me crazy. Turned out to be a guiding wheel of the sectional gate. I adjusted the wheel so that it was lightly pressed against the guide rai...
