As far as being a good HT sub amp, they are quite adequate. I've run mine for hours and I still haven't heard the fan turn on. I don't have any of the internal DSP's operating though-

I got a XLS1000 to power my THTLP, but I've only run it for 10 minutes to test 30hz sine waves. The fan never kicked on but I was only outputting 13 volts. The crown got here yesterday. How should I gauge the CFM of the stock fans? Pop them out and hope I see a model number to look up?

So I picked it up Thursday, I've put it through it's paces since then- I have to say it's dead quiet and quite powerful. I'm surprised at the documented specs, it's very equal to the Crown xls402d that I just ordered. I think I'm going to replace the fans in the Crown and see how quiet that will get...

I can't find any info on this amp. I found one for $100, rip-off or deal? Seems like it can provide decent wattage, and it's quiet, but it's older so I'm not sure how that affects performance if at all.
