Thank you
Is it a pack space issue? I know I'd much rather roll in a single T39 than to carry in even a single Simplexx Sub. The size of two of 'em is bigger than the T39 you already have.

Came across this yesterday.....pretty profound. I'm definitely not an audiophile. Are you?

Re: DR build questions

it looks weak. 20240227_065326.jpg Doesn't matter....it doesn't do anything except keep out the dust. The problem is when the edge comes loose and rattles. The holes and dents won't hurt anything. But, doesn't hurt to run a little bead of superglue around the edge of the dust cover to ensure it doe...

How did you make sure the ooze out from curing glue did not permanently glue your baffle in place while it supports the cab geometry? I'm starting a S10 soon and intend to cut the port corners first for this reason. Or, just use these......I've got 4 of 'em that I made from scrap and have been usin...

Re: What's to chat about?

I will say that I have never tested for it. BTW, oranges have tested positive. Well, I've always been a redhead, but I guess orange is more descriptive of my hair in my early years. :cowboy: After the first round, I've been able to predict the second and third round before testing. It just feels di...

You know I have Covid.....you shouldn't be reading my posts without a mask on.... It seems like 75% of the people I know have had it in the past month, if not currently. Interesting, but I tested positive last Tuesday. My wife has tested twice (including this morning) and she's still negative. No c...

Re: Modern driver options for Table Tuba build?

Thank you guys! All your replies are very much appreciated. I got this amp: https://www.ebay.com/itm/176034779249 ad is not mine. It is 2x100wrms @8ohm, or 2x150wrms @4ohm and bridgeable at 300wrms @8 ohm. Is it a valid point to choose a 8 ohm driver and bridge it? Thanks. Never heard of the brand ...

Re: Modern driver options for Table Tuba build?

Whoops. Since I wasn't looking for a source from which to actually BUY one, I did the most cursory of searches. First one I saw was on Amazon, not the best source for the best price on electronics. www.amazon.com/WOOFER-HIGH-EXCURSION-120W-OHM/dp/B00DKF48CI I think that's a screwed-up listing. Look...

Deleted the original post in case some might have found it upsetting. Don't know what you deleted, but I've never seen you post anything that could even mildly be considered upsetting. Except that time you called me a fat, bald, redneck jackass from Texas.....but, since it's true - I guess I can't ...

I feel for you Bruce. I got my second round just before last Christmas. Bye bye Christmas dinner with my family. Again. I hope you get better soon, with no long lasting after effects. Thanks. My first time around was actually on Christmas morning. My son and his wife has just gotten in the day befo...

Re: What's to chat about?

Only thing I hate as much an incessant cough is not being able to breath through my nose due to massive nasal cavity congestion. Every time that happens I say to myself, I've got to remember to be grateful I can breath when it's not congested. (inhales, exhales) Ahhh, that's great! I hear ya'. Covi...
