Re: DR200s and SAC - China Grove NC, Aug 16-27
I will stick my 5 cents into conversation about these GTD mics. I got them too. Not a bad thing after all with only one problem with a mute button. Almost the same as on older PGX series. The singers just like to turn them off while performing. Concerning patterns, it actually sound weird off axis. ...

And not facing them into the wall would likely put the openings in the 2-8 foot no-man's land. +1. :cop: turning subs towards the wall would change the response. -1. :wall: Sorry, would anybody define "no-man's land". If I understand it right no one would be able to stand in front of them...

Re: New DR280 and extra something
S (subs was standing upright next to each other in the corner facing the audience) Any reason for not loading these into the corner? Nice system ; ) Absolutely no reason :) . When I entered the room, I knew that that I would have enough power anyway. But because I was short on time for set up, I de...

Re: New DR280 and extra something
This is almost the exact system that I plan on building for my band later this summer. From how you describe it, it will perfectly meet my needs. Sorry if I missed it, but I'm curious what you are powering everything with? Thanks for the review. Robby Behringer ep4000 powers 2 subs parallel sitting...

Re: New DR280 and extra something
Were they indoors, coupled, and corner loaded??? that might helped out the subs BIG time. Run them outdoors without any barriers and the subs should start struggling. Aha. I wasn't suspecting that this would make that much difference, but now I see it could be up to 9db difference. I had these subs...

Re: New DR280 and extra something
So I had them on the gig. Was pretty impressive. First of all they don't FILL that loud as it is due to low distortion levels.(I am talking about DR280 now). That was a wedding with a 80's rock band in 90' by 70' room. The board was all the way at the back wall to leave some space for the party. So,...

Re: New DR280 and extra something
Those SP3s should have been Black Widow loaded and should easily have handled 500+ watts.??? You sure they weren't PV115s or something other then SP3s? The old SP3s had the 100 RMS and 200 Peak rating on the input placard using a scorpion driver for the lows.Is it that older box you have? The SP3 G...

Re: New DR280 and extra something
Hi there. Sweet looking set up I musy say. Feel a review coming on please? Cheeers :feedback: First of all let me tell you why I decided to build those. I had a couple of Peavey SP3 that I used for tops. I didn't have any documentation for it but marking on the back that states 800Watt made me fill...

Wedgehorn 8 and 10 HiFi
I've build both. Love them. There was some statements about HiFi qualities of those boxes. Interesting enough, I tuned them in my studio. EQ curve looks pretty funny though, but I will tell you about sound. You can make them (W8) sound HiFi (with sub). I was working on some tracking with another mus...

Has anybody used M-audio Pulsar II for overheads. Just thinking of buying a set. Anybody?
