Sorry if I missed it, but I'm curious what you are powering everything with?

Thanks for the review.

Robby
Behringer ep4000 powers 2 subs parallel sitting on one channel
Crown xls802 stereo for tops
QSC Gx3 two monitors per channel, but some times run two W8 on one channel, one W10 on another and another W10 power with left over channel from behringer ep4000 when I need three mixes for monitors. :cop: But be careful with pushing W10 with ep4000, can easy blow it. I set external limiter for it to half the power. and it still only temporary :fingers: I plan to get another QSC GX3 just in case if I have to run 4 separate monitor mixes.

Any reason for not loading these into the corner?
Nice system ; )

Absolutely no reason :) . When I entered the room, I knew that that I would have enough power anyway. But because I was short on time for set up, I decided no to bother with playing with it. EQs was pretunned already, so turning subs towards the wall would change the response.

And not facing them into the wall would likely put the openings in the 2-8 foot no-man's land. Might not be as much of a problem if they were close and you were crossing lower though.

Sorry, would anybody define "no-man's land". If I understand it right no one would be able to stand in front of them. The area was caged out by the building owners from beginning anyway and the closest people could get to the subs was obout 15ft, so who cares about no-man land.
Thank you Bill though for letting me know that responce doesn't change, Can the drywall break?

I don't understand this part of the sticky:

"Placement of the subs and mains will change their phase relationships, so test it with every new venue or change of speaker placement."

If the subs and tops are in phase, aren't they always in phase? Doesn't "in phase" mean that when you apply a positive signal (eg from a 9 volt battery) that the cones in the subs and and the cones in the tops both go in the same direction?

Thanks,

Doug

Doug:
You are confusing electrical polarity with acoustic phase.
Because the sound sources will be separated by distance ( they can't occupy the same physical space ), there will always be a certain amount of phase shift that increases with distance separated.
