So my school had an art gallery showing tonight from 5-10, and I played swing and background music while the parade and football game (homecoming game) were going on. And they did great, I was running them at probably less than 10v, only the signal led flickered on my 1400 watt amp. I noticed how well the bass traveled, my tops droped off quicker than the subs. After the close time I had free reign to play what I wanted, so you know, volume goes with that...
Here's where I'm baffled (hehe pun) this was in a hallway, where it is about 50 ft wide in the gallery, 30 where I was. I set up by the school entrance doors (they were all 4 open!), where the sub was in the corner facing a wall with the doors 18" from the corner, almost facing outside. I'd say the hall/room was about 300ft long. The ceiling was about 12ft high, and brick walls and tile flooring. So I've got alot going for high spl and alot of reverb, but surprisingly it didn't echo too bad! And for spl, holy sh**! the ceiling tiles were rattling as were the doors, gaffer tape comes in
handy

Application- to some people they are scared of the t60, but honestly I don't really notice a disservice to the size. I went from a single t39 to these, and though there is more labor I don't have an issue. I could have went with one and still get plenty loud, but it is easy enough to bring 2. It is big but it certainly isn't heavy.
