Piezo Crossover Question

#1 Post by groig »

My TLAH is a bit bright with the piezos. I noticed in my Jack plans that the resistor can be moved to decrease sensitivity by 2 dB. Will this work with the TLAH crossover as well? I realize the two crossovers have different corner frequencies. Also, is there a simple formula for adding resistance to pad piezo tweeter arrays such as if I wanted to knock them down 3 or 6dB?

Yes.

No. If it's still too bright after moving the 4 ohm resistor you should be using EQ for further adjustments. For that matter you should have tried that option already.
