Defective DRPA
Defective DRPA
I purchased a DRPA on eBay a couple years ago (used, of course). It is now acting up on me. The readout screen is all garbled making it effectively useless. It seems to me that this was a known problem? Does anyone know if there is an easy, cost effective fix? I was gonna contact DBX, but I thought I'd ask here first.

Re: Defective DRPA
I've had that happen a couple of times on startup with mine. It seems to be a screen thing, as it works fine if you are using the same setting as the last time. I've found a bit of percussive maintenance works too. (um, hitting it) then switching it off and on again.

-1 for thought terminating cliches.

Re: Defective DRPA
Mine was messed up looking out of the box new! It wasn't until I turned down the brightness of the screen that it got clear again. It was on it's highest setting when I first turned it on and very hard to read and garbled looking for sure.Ron P wrote:I purchased a DRPA on eBay a couple years ago (used, of course).
