Just make sure you always grab the right end and that one end doesn't get tucked through the loop either. I use velcro one-wrap straps, strap them tightly and always start from the male end where it'll plug into the snake so I can toss it towards the instrument or position I want the cable to end up. It also seems best if you always toss with an eye towards unspooling the entire cable, otherwise it often tangles and knots along the way with short tosses o longer cables. That's also why I carry a good assortment of 10ft, 20ft and 30ft cable.mangomanj wrote:+5
After you've mastered the over/under method, try this:
Lay the coiled cable on the ground. Grab the cable end that is on top. Now pull it! It will unravel without knotting up! Try doing that with cable that's been coiled over/over.
