Anyone have any idea about being able to buy cabinent flatpacks for Bill's designs, either ready-made as such or custom cut and shipped?

Bison and Pattex have expanding PU glues that work well but I seem to remember they were not exactly cheap. I have used an expanding polyurethane glue from Soudal. Years ago it was readily available for me in continental Europe. It was cheap and worked very well. My Autotuba, T18, Omni's and SLA's have not come apart.

To the PL Premium-Situation in europe:
The Soudal-variant seems to be the ideal combination of availability and result.
The before mentioned Soudal 60A seems to be a region-specific naming and leads to polish websites usually.
The german version would be this: https://www.hornbach.de/p/soudal-pu-kon ... /10131305/ ; according to the datasheet: https://media.hornbach.de/hb/technicald ... 244487.pdf it has the desired foaming to fill in gaps and seems to be comparable to PL Premium.
And on a decent pricing, when taking a box of 12 cans they come in at 7,95 €/ per can (425g/285ml) including taxes, what seems to be the best available option for europe?

A pricing factor could be to ask at construction material retailers vs. the home depots of germany like hornbach; but i'd assume the margin wouldn't be that high.

It has been many years since I last purchased some Soudal 60A in Hornbach stores in the Netherlands. You may very well be correct in saying the 60A version is not widely available throughout Europe anymore. Right now I also cannot find the type you refer to in Dutch shops. It may not be sold here.

Also, it is worth noting that the cartridge you link to is larger than the standard 290/300g cartridges. It requires a larger "Kartuschenpresse" than regular tubes.

Last but not least: I did find some shops offering PU D4 wood glue in bottles rather than cartridges. It may be easier to apply. On the other hand a bottle allows fresh air to enter into the bottle every time you open it. Moisture in the air is what starts the PU curing process. For this reason PU glue may not last as long in a bottle as the cartridge versions.

Not at all, there ist just no measurement given in ml (volume); it's in gramm (weight). They fit into my "Kartuschenpresse" (love to read german vocabulars that probably sound like a disaster to foreigners) from 1970s that takes every other acrylic/silicone-tube as well. Have the cartridges here, measuring 215mm in length and 50mm in diameter. The even add non-reusable gloves in the bottom, they know what they are selling i guess :D
(On the cartridge no volume given as well, but by 1,5g/ml im came up with the roughly 290 ml)

Wanted to add the german wood-sitation for critics and other fellow germans looking for the material:

We have the BalticBirch, which is commonly made from 9 Plies in the desired thickness of 12mm, then some poplar with the problematic thin veneer as the toppings around 7 "real plies", and then some interesting poplar/eucalyptus with 7 plies: (And without a picture, the construction pine as well. But not a good idea)

PXL_20251213_130033475.jpg
PXL_20251213_130134558.jpg
The pricing on them, when bought at reasonable sources, is about 106,36 €/sheet (4 by 8 feet, or 1250 by 2500mm) for baltic birch, and 72,23€/sheet (1220 by 2500mm) for the poplar/eucalyptus-combination (30mm smaller, but not crucial for cuttings i tried to arrange). Poplar with thin outer veneer comes at quite similar prices, but not worth it. As well as construction grade pine, all within the same range when not buying in huge bulks.

The poplar/eucalyptus has one side as "Siebdruck"; the common surface for truckbeds and Flightcases, and the other side has a film added. The film is somewhat annoying, as it won't hold paint before sanding completely. But by fixing holes and such, i think i will be sanding the whole surface no matter if there is a film applied or not. Maybe removing the film with a wire brush or something similar will do it faster and render less sanding paper unuseable. And for glueing, the roughed side should be fine as the surface is increased by that pattern. Even the common wood glue holds super well on that.

So I'd say its good to go for the poplar/eucal-Variant in Germany; saves a quarter of the price and some weight in the end as well; was recommended somewhere else in here to go for poplar due to weight. Warping should be quite similar, as it is firmly pressed in the production.

Edit: And i found them in the full sheet, at the same pricing:

Price is per m² before tax, so it is 23,21 €/m² and 72,53€/sheet
