Doubt you're going to get a reply, Joman116. I debated between titan39s and tuba30s when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to build. No doubt the t39 is the bomb for live music, but I knew I'd be 95% recorded and lots of EDM so that ultimately made my decision to go with the tubas. No regrets. My rig sounds better than any mobile dj setup I've ever heard, and rivals many smaller club installs. Yeah, they're not small. But I've also found that using the v-plate on a 2x2 stack for my mixer makes a decent dj booth and lessens the perception of how big they are. You could probably get fancy and build a frame with a screen around it to really disguise what you have going on. I did something like that once when I was running some little JBL monitors as tops (before I built my OTops), and people were freaking out trying to understand how those little speakers were creating such thundering bass - without realizing they were standing right next to a pile of subs.
Appreciate the reply. I do alot of top 40. I did was was reccomended, load top tracks in audacity and high pass out 40hz. I couldn't tell very little difference. And if that's what I heard, audience is not going to know at all. With these facts, then the titan 39 wins for me, especially because of pack out space for a compact suv/ storage in a garage. The smaller footprint at the cost of taller height is very beneficial. Someone had also told me that having casters makes it a lot easier to load into a vehicle. Let me know what you think.
I put integrated casters on my tubas. Helps a lot, even though they are an awkward size. I stack two of them on dollies I build for pushing them up the ramp into my little trailer, as there isn't much room to stack them once inside. Would be a no brainer on the taller titans.
Top40 is relatively light on the deep low end. Did a backyard "rave" with my son a couple of weeks ago. The random top 40 / classic rock tracks dropped in sounded pretty anemic compared to the other stuff we were playing.

Truck Tuba (MCM) Next up: 2xJack12L or family of table tubas
Classic rock cuts from before the 80s weren't mixed with much low bass as few listeners had gear that would handle it, especially as the #1 payback medium was car radios. Remixes done from the 90s on have much better low end, but it's still nothing like D&B or Techno.
Very true, Bill. Even some tracks from the late 80's and 90's that I used to think thumped sounded pretty thin. Again, glad you put out the tuba designs. Love mine!
