After over ten years of building, l finally picked up 1/4" BB for a pair of J10Ls, really looking forward to not dealing with warp & voids as you describe Bruce

Has anyone ever used a clear finish on the Pro cabs for an install?

Thanks dude. It's going together pretty good.💪

Glued in some foam before bonding the side, while I had access to it.

Thanks Scott, these J15's will be gigging cabs and will be hanging around for awhile so they'll need to look good :hyper:

Progress is slow, I have a few different projects around the house going on at the same time. :bash:
At second glance, the plug extensions look like a stack of pancakes 🥞. 🤤

getting closer to finishing

Great progress today. Glued in the side handle supports, routed for the side handles, and drilled out the rear panel screw flange. Had and Idea about the speakon connecters. I really don't like the connector dish look, so I chopped up the dish and will use it as a washer for the bolts.

Finally got some dye, poly, and Duratex on it. Almost done with the outside.

Also, made scrap bin for some shop organization (long overdue).

Thanks Keryn.

For the front of the cab, I started with ColorTone 'Vintage Amber' dye (undiluted) applied with an old cut-up T shirt. Let it dry overnight, lightly sanded back and dyed for a second time. Then, applied polyurethane (warm semi-gloss 2 coats).

For the sides and top, tapped off the front with blue painters tape and applied the Duratex with a foam textured roller.
