I almost got the Cannibis Rex speaker...I really liked the sound clips I heard of it. I ended up with a GB128...I think it was because I got it on sale. Now I wonder how much different the Rex would be...

It'd be cool if you could somehow get a badge for the upper left of the grille...in Fender script...that says 'Bruce"
Yeah.....I don't know how you could put something there and not make it look tacky....

I'll probably just leave it and let people wonder what it is...kind'a like all my BFM stuff.

Was wondering if that was too vague to tickle a little humor and at the same time express appreciation for such a fabulously crafted and good looking cab.

If it was too vague... absolutely outstanding job Bruce. Thanks for sharing the build with us, along with the ups and downs along the way. I completely enjoyed the read.

Agreed. Nothing attracts questions like amazing sound coming from gear that doesn't have a brand name that you can find at Guitar Center.

I haven't touched a Princeton pretty much in my life until I built this one.....then yesterday a local amp repair guy brought me a Princeton cab that had been cut down to make it a head.....looked like it had been done with an ax.....maybe a circular saw....and the bottom was missing.

So, I put a new bottom in it for him....he didn't do this, he's fixing it for a customer..

What a mess....

Cleaned up the gouges with a chisel....
IMG_2935.JPG
Filled 'em with some scrap BB I had laying around....
IMG_2937.JPG
Put on the new bottom, flush cut it, then routed the edges to a 1/2 roundover to match the rest of the cab...
