Yes totalyGrant Bunter wrote: ↑Thu Apr 05, 2018 4:01 am If you use the 1/4 and speakon plate, make sure the 1/4" jacks are sealed, or use some blanks or non cabled jacks.
Don't want to introduce any leaks...
Ok cool, yes well do i put the wire back in the coil hole or i make it so that it's like if there was more turns?Grant Bunter wrote: ↑Thu Apr 05, 2018 5:03 pm Yes all the inductors length is part of it's value. Wind some of that wire back into the coil, with just enough out to connect to the other parts of the crossover.
Also, stand the smaller inductor upright, and place it 90 degrees perpendicular to the larger coil if it has to be that close.
If you have HF components, better to place the components for that filter on another board entirely...
The high pass specifies polys.Electric Wisdom wrote: ↑Thu Apr 05, 2018 7:56 pm here's the crossover parts on a wood plate for the HF crossover only, i know i know i will buy the kits if it sounds not as expected because i used poly instead of elect caps
