No this this an ultra resistant Pu glue...it's not the transparent one you are using in the usa but it's an equivalent to your loctite that is quite hard to find here 8)
It looks like silicon cause i've trimmed the excess with my fingers when it was not dried.
Don't worry it's also an expansive version and all will be really air sealed ;)

ok today i've put horn sheats in place and begun to install the pvc pipes...
mine was a bit too "soft" ( 120 mm grey diameter wasn't in stock so i've used 115 mm roof gutter ) so i've made some little cleats to block them...

hey it's been a long time since i wrote my last post...i've been quite busy doing my homeworks, ehhhh...correcting my students'homeworks !
We'll i've worked on my DRs the week end and i think i'm quite near to fire 'em up :)
so the tweeters modules are nearly ready, i've got some finishing to do to have them perfectly air tighted (see on the top and the bottom...little gaps to fill).
Screwing them perfectly with 3mm T-nuts was a little bit tricky but it's done.
i'm working on the filters now.

I didn't think that with the new Piezo module that the array had to be air tight.

honestly...i don't know if it's really needed.
i'm sure it's not in fact regarding to the plans.
but when i'm in doubt i prefer to be a psychopath...In France you can translate this by "who can do the best can do the less". :chainsaw:

It doesn't, all that's necessary is that the module joints to the rest of the cab be airtight.

Am I mistaken, or does the DR250 use a 20 element melded array? I see only 18 elements on the OP's build, hence why I ask.
I know money often seals the deal, but seriously, quality is an investment, not an expense... Grant Bunter

I noticed that as well.
I believe it should be 20 piezo's/cab, at least that's what mine are, and what my plans say...
