Horn bondo'd! The place where the wood was cut too short could have used another application or two to be unnoticable, but I was impatient. :/

Still working out the proportion of hardener, it tends to set up on me really fast.

Sanded it all down with 120 grit, painted it with Kilz, sand with 220, paint, sand, paint...still a few more to go but it's getting smooth!

Thanks for the nice build thread. I haven't watched anyone's wedgehorn threads for a while. I built mine WH8s so long ago. It's cool to see the WH6s being built. :hyper:

Replacement to-spec inductor arrived from PE. I snipped off the old one and soldered it on.

I'd made little starter holes in the lower back to install the crossover on, but I did them before the access panel brackets were on and it didn't fit any more. Derp. Oh well, the side without the handle/port worked, and I was able to get screws into it through the holes for mounting the tweeters and the back without too much trouble. It's really cramped in there!

Installed the main driver without too much jamming my fingers into crossover components (ow, but no blood). At least the lower two holes are reachable with a standard driver, only had to use the right angle one for the top two.

Tweeters wired up with 24 gauge wire 'cuz I had some and it was color coded. It's like thread, but IITP! :)

Sides decorated with sharpies. (actually before all this was done so I could spray fixative on it without gumming up the drivers)

Next: Trimming the corners to fit, finding the center of gravity so I know where the strap handle should go.

Makes them less likely to be tripped over on a dark stage.

All done!

Thank you to whoever it was that posted the method of cutting down the corners to 'unfold' them for the wider-than-90-degree angles. Quick work with a dremel and a cutoff wheel.

Leaving the access panel off when I sanded the cabinet means it sticks out a bit. Fixable but I'm not sure it's a priority.

Had fun drawing on the sides but I wasn't thinking about what side was up during normal usage. |) Oh well!

Tests out fine, looking forwards to next kareoke event to give it a workout.
