My first build (2 T39's) was quite wonky. Just rushed it too much. But you'll find you get better as you go. Squareness of sheets is an issue and pulling bows out (as described in the instructions) improved my builds a lot.
As said by others above, the wonkiness doesn't change the sound and you might be able to bluff your way through by blaming the floor. I say that to myself everytime I pick my W8's up!! (This is the photo I never posted due to wonkiness shame!)
