Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

Thanks Gents. It's always encouraging, your feedback.
Nearly there. Fitted drivers and velcro for frame fixing. Just got to wire up. I'm having a bit of a blocker on the jack socket (female) wiring for the switching stereo. I'm using the following: http://www.jumbosunshade.com/misc_docs/swd03.htm but when I look at the socket schematic at the top of the page, I read it as the jack plug (male) is inserted from the left (through the squashed O, which is the shield or ground). But this means the tips (furthest connector to the right) are wired -ve, according to the diagrams; where i thought tips were always +ve. Any thoughts?

You are correct. I've never seen tip wired as - .Charles Jenkinson wrote: . . where i thought tips were always +ve. Any thoughts?

Re: XF212
I took the cab to a mates this afternoon, for him to wire up the sockets and try it out. Everything was finished mechanically, so to speak, but I haven't heard it myself, yet. He runs a busy music equipment repair business, and has guitarist type musos in his place all the time, so he will be able to see if there's any interest in the XF cab, and loan/lend it out or what have you. The idea is he wants to have a crack at making valve amps too, and maybe a marriage of some sort can start. I have no great ambition particularly - it's not the sort of business to have ambition in I feel, and I don't really want to be an authorised builder, for various reasons, the economics of it being one of those (not the subs to Bill cost as an authorised builder). it's mainly the time it takes to put a nice cab together is too long and I don't have that much time, but if there's the odd one prepared to pay the right sort of money, and desperate, then any things possible, even if they buy the plans and still want it built for them. Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing how it sounds. His workmate has a gig in 2 weeks and was interested in using it, so who knows, it may get an audition soon. If I hear, I'll let you know. Spread the word, I've gotta lot of love still for these things and the happy smiles they make.
P.S. It's really sweet seeing the drivers angled in and back, and the surrounds glinting through the semi open mesh frame front - much better than a opaque cloth front IMO. I could sit and just look at the damn thing for hours, it's that pretty.

Re: XF212
Hello all. Newbie here. I just built a xf212 cab but with 210 baffles. How will this affect the sound? Could I even do a 10 and a 12 ? I only had plans for the 212 and didn't want to try scaling it down for 210 s. I haven't affixed the baffles yet. Never posted to anything before so excuse if this is in the wrong thread. Not sure how to start a new one. Thanks so much.
