hi everybody, i am Arrie from South Africa.

i have been following this forum for quite a while now and i even bought a few plans from Bill.
i have build numerous cabinets in the past and will still keep on building many more. i have my own rig which i utilise for mainly outdoor events.(EAW BH 882's)will send some pics soon. i need some advise with the T48 build i am planning, and that is can someone advise me on the maximum outside width for a double 15. if i understand the plans correctly it is 36" max, is that correct?

Hi Arrie, welcome aboard!

You can go 36" with just one 3015LF for maximum performance at 40Hz out of one cab. If you can lug round such a big cab, it will be the most efficient and cost effective method of getting output.

Built:
6xDR200, 2xT39, 2xT48, 2xJack110, 1xOmni10.5, 1xAutotuba, 1xT18, 1xSLA Pro, 1xW8, 1xW10

Thanks Chris

it is quite interesting, especially the 40 - 60Hz region. to me that makes the bigger cab with a single driver all the worth while. i do not have any problem with size or weight for that matter. i am currently busy building an enclosed trailer specially for transporting sound equipment.

i am absolutely crazy about the intimidating appearance of a big rig, but it should obviously sound that way too.
