I can grasp the whole 'Cafe Racer' theme now, nothing to do with 1%'rs that is clear.

Sounds pretty fun, we were only allowed low spec 250cc bikes on our 'L' plates which we could get at 16 and cruise about independently 8) With a car you couldn't drive independently till 17 and on your 'P' plates, needless to say many a friend had nasty scrapes (putting it lightly) hooning about with our L's

Speaking of fast, my mate just bought the new Audi QS5, Twin Turbo Diesel Soccer Mum car on steroids, it bloody flies, does 0 - 60mph in 5.1 sec, reminded me of my VL Turbo when I was 17, ahhhh fun times
Built 2 x T39 Lab 12 loaded 457mm wide, 29inch Wide Dual Lab 12 Loaded T60 and 2 x OTop 112 2512 Melded. Powered by N.I.TRAKTOR Pro 2.6 (2.6.1 has too many issues) TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 Crown XTi2000

I didn't say it could only do 100mph, just that it made it there. I never did top it out, I usually got scared around 110mph. I have been faster on a more modern bike, but I wasn't going to go any faster on that thing.

I have half the mind to post a classic motorcycle thread in "everything else" :D

Tried to not further the derailment of this thread, but here is my café:

Project bike of my dad's:

And I just took possession of this beast last week. Too bad I'm not supposed to ride, this would be a fun one to keep. It was my dad's midlife crisis. He bought it in 2006 and put 2000 miles on it since then. I am selling it for him. It was build by Dynojet and is an honest 200 mph bike:
