Mine are 18" wide squareback, loaded with the 3012LF, built out of 5 ply pine. Still waiting for paint, wheels & corners etc.

I'm suitably impressed with the performance so far, pretty astonishing for a pair of 12's. After rolling off a bit of the higher end (say, above 80Hz, -6db/oct) on the bass output channel of the DCX, I was left with smooth defined liquid bass and plenty of it, solid thump, and headroom to spare. Someone here decribed it as visceral. Thats quite a good way to put it.
Test firing the first one outside the garage for a few minutes at moderate volume brought a noise complaint from a block away. Testing the second one the next day brought a few laughs, as the cab inched its way backwards on the smooth concrete floor.
Then I set them up for my friends birthday party in their back yard. They
that party. We only went till 10pm, but one verbal and one written complaint later (not from any of the neighbours within a block or so -we know them) we have written proof of performance! Looking forward to letting them stretch their legs a little in a more remote location.The down side? Every bar/club system in town (and most of the hire rigs) now sound pretty lame in comparison - be prepared to start making your own fun. There's no going back.
You just gotta love his enthusiasm, even if you you just want to lock him up under the kitchen sink sometimes.
