I got a little excited and ordered the 9 speaker/ 12 tweeter kit from speaker hardware. Anyways I'm doing the rectangular version. I was not thinking and made the cuts from the plans.... Woops! Im doing a 9 woofer set-up and I cut my rear panel at 38" and the baffle at 40".... After all that, I think im going to be short on fitting all the speakers in the box. Shit. Did I F up or am I going to be okay? ThanksYall....

My math says I am short. But I want to see if Master can verify.... Or I have to wait until the package hits the door.......

If need be you can add to the length of each. IITP on how to do it.

Hello, i screwed up my first tlah build in exactly the same way :-)
I started over from scratch but i was building the corner mounted version. With the other version the baffle is rectangular so you could indeed lenghten it.
I'm glad i'm not the only one that make such mistakes, makes me feel less an idiot.
I completed mine this week and am veeerrryyy pleased with them.
My girlfriend is a bit less happy

What does IITP mean? What are my options for just going with the 8 woofer/ 12 tweeter set-up? Not sure what ohm the goldwoods are i ordered. Doesn't say if they are 8 ohm of 4 ohm but im guessing 8 ohm due to the plans...

Goldwood GT-302s are 8 Ohms only.

PE a while back had a listing for 4 but it was a typo.

You could splice the panels to lengthen them per the plans or just make new panels.

These get tight already from the description of others so you need the length at the top for the extra woofer.

Best of luck you will love them when done.

It's not just the busy that's slowing things. Suppliers are making my life miserable trying to get stuff out the door. Lead times are stretching to 2 or 3 weeks for almost all of them. Trying to bulk up inventory to compensate, but that just takes LOTS of cash.

Looks Like the rest of my kit from speakerhardware should be here next week. Can't wait to finally listen to these puppies..... SpeakerHardware has good customer service, I will say that. I thought I was going to be at a loss but, they are going to send me the last six speakers of the kit I ordered so that's good news to hear. I was so excited when I started this project last month, but now I'm just hoping to get everything together before our family Christmas party. One thing I would change about the kit if I could would be and option for the right hardware. Screws for the speakers and tweeters plus a roll of wire and binding posts would help most DIYers like myself save a lot of running around time. Thanks Guys!

Is there supposed to be one more inductor on one crossover then the other? One has 3 and one has 4. Is this right? I just noticed????? Leland did these and I don't want to look like a rookie if I am wrong/// Thanks guys....

Only Leland can answer for sure. It might be that he had to add two together for the correct inductance, but I'm only guessing.

Ran out of 1 value. All of a sudden I sold a bunch of slah/tlah xovers. You can sum inductors just like resistors, so the two summed together are the correct value on that board. I have a helluva time keeping all the crossover parts in stock.
