Jack 10's Someday Soon
Jack 10's Someday Soon
I hope I get some time in the future to work on these. They will be used to tailgate, and during practice sessions on my acoustic/electronic drum kits.

Looking promising!
I hope you can highpass your drums, as loud as j10 will go I don't know that they can handle the kick drum at high vol.

BAT10, Bad Auto Tuba. Reverse folded TAT to fit JBL 1014D, 350W driver, voltage limit unknown.

I'll be using them to play some "drum less" music through when on my acoustic set, and not very loudly on my electronic kit. I wear headphones and would like my wife to hear something other than just me playing my kit. But I'll let you know as I'm thinking most of that frequency energy will be from the vent and the harmonics right through the "horns" operational bandwidth.

Here is a picture of my mini A7's aka slightly modified Jack 10's. I made a few changes to the crossover based on some measurements. I wanted a go sounding tailgate speaker verses a PA sounding speaker. They sound really great and do a good job when I practice on my drum set. I'm building a pair of J15's to be used with my drum kits.

The ASD-1001 .... crossed over at 2K (W&T) via a third order xover , I added impedance compensation on the LF side too. I'll post some better pics soon.
