I cut the mid horn panels today, just need to do the baffle holes...
By the way, doesn't the tweeter need a grill? The APT 80 has a sharp cone in the middle and I wouldn't want anybody to hurt their fingers :)

I wasn't worried about them, to be honest
but leaving it without a grill doesn't seem like a good idea. The plans don't mention anything like a grill...

Maybe you should use a piece of scrap wood when fastening, before piercing that kind of holes. You will avoid marks.

Anyone sticking their fingers into my cab would end up losing them.

I only needed the plug, the rest of the plywood is scrap, so any marks don't matter

if want you can use a grill. the plans don't mention one but it's been done before. mine have grils to because i rent them out and it avoids crap getting into the horn

It might be an unnecessary cost but I would like to be sure. I'll google for them!
Meanwhile I'm ready to put the Midrange Horn together. I'll post some pics later on...

The phase plug in the baffle panel is slightly larger (about 1/16") than the one glued on it, which has the correct size. Should I correct that or is there nothing to worry about?

Dry fitting. It's a very, very tight fit. Don't think I need glue :)
I will have to do some sanding before glueing it
