I Haven't ignored anything. I have followed the plans. Per plan the high pass is currently at 35 Hz and will be dropped to 30 Hz when I bring the other two cabs online. The plans don't have much to say about Crossover points. The SPL charts run out to 200 Hz, after that, the discussions on the forum have been more about adjusting crossover point to sound the best. A lower Crossover point may very well work far better. None the less, your commentary is presumptuous and acidic. I can tell you, I will be ignoring any of your future comments due to the lack of constructive usefulness. Feel free to stay out of the threads I have created

Good for you man. this is a fantastic forum, but the pompus "holier than thou" attacks make beginners like me shy away. excellent work on these cabs, by the way. i am about 75% done with my first t-48, wanted to build a single before i tried mass-producing any

I just got back from the big summer BBQ. Everything worked great! I played mostly classic rock due to the crowd, all ages from 87 to 4 years old. I did do some testing with a decibel meter. A 60 Hz tone at 6 feet at full war volume was running at about 117 db. At 75 feet I was holding at 109 db. This was only for testing purposes. I only needed about 5-10% of the volume while still allowing for people to converse. The system sounded amazing. Clear as a bell. My favorite comment was:

Guest: "Wow, that sounds just like a concert pro sound system"
Me: "That's because it is"

I don't really like the idea of shooting a video, the sound is always terrible and makes for a poor impression on Youtube. However, I have another gig in August, I may film the setup and interview some of the guests and record their impressions. I think that would serve a better purpose.

I can only fit two Tubas and two Jack 15's in my minivan (rear seats removed) I put the other two Tubas on my BBQ trailer to haul them to Michigan. I am very pleased and proud of the performance.

I only have two pictures thus far, as I get more of the setup, I will post them.

Thanks for all the input and comments folks.

Oh yeah, The BBQ was amazing too.

Yes you are right about the you tube videos..they don't come out too good. But can't wait to see the things people will say.

Ah, Cereal City! It's only a 2 hour drive for me, and would have been fun. I might have even brought along my T39s for a direct comparison!

4 T39 smash 4 T30 in the T39 passband, if you need the really low stuff T30 win and T60 rule.
BAT10, Bad Auto Tuba. Reverse folded TAT to fit JBL 1014D, 350W driver, voltage limit unknown.
