Wet sand, one coat poly and wait. If your Tubas is going to be outside alot, then pony up for exterior polyurethane to prevent the clear coats from getting a yellow tint to it.

Like giving us (or me, at any rate) amazing historical insights into the evolution of ragtime, jazz, and blues in your other thread?!

THANKS.

This thread really shows the size of the T60!

Bassmonster's father would have a coronary if he saw that being hauled into his house!

We didn't have enough time to build the four tuba so we did some experimenting with placement.....

Testing the Tri pod Stand

#57 Post by zefrenm »

It was going good until the tubas woke everyone working Grave yard in a 100 yrd radius from my house but managed to listen to how the three tubas performed this way heres a picture of what i heard in a 150 hz wipe to 5 hZ played in 30 secs over and over again marking places that was louder and places that sounded like only one tube vs three.

Maaaaaaann, You've go to be the T60 King!

You and your faithful helper must be having a ball making all of those glorious T60's.

Your steel work around the access panel is great, makes it look proper industrial and mean. The stain and poly is a nice touch too. With four casters conspicuously placed underneath you could excuse people for asking a rather apt question eg:

"Wow Zef, were'd you get the flash new flight cases? More importantly, whats in them?" to this you would answer

"Flight cases...pffft! Theses are the subs"

That tone sweep video is bloody gnarly, you've got some serious warfare. With the above "graph" which colour represents which? Did you do this by ear, or do you have some special desert storm technology out there?

Please excuse my ignorance, the title of the thread quoting the term 'Reservation', do you mean like Reservation, as in Mohave desert, saguaro cactus, peyote, mescalun, tepee and Native Indian Folk? I bet you are seriously popular with everybody between the age of about 16 to 35, having some seriously wild parties with the Tri-lithic Trident Of T60 Torture :chainsaw:

Nice lightshow.

T60 3, camera mic nil as usual.

The teepee arrangement seems pointless unless you count the visual appeal. How about wall or corner loading them according to Hoyle?
BAT10, Bad Auto Tuba. Reverse folded TAT to fit JBL 1014D, 350W driver, voltage limit unknown.
