I have it rough cut right now but I am installing it tomorrow. (ran out of sunshine) I check for air leaks before I install the braces just so i can reach some areas in the horn.

it MIGHT be a little bit of over kill, but it is now well braced and I really like how the round-over looks. Now to clean out the shavings.

On a related note.. has anyone actually covered these with vinyl or tolex? or does everyone paint or duratex them?

I haven't seen any pictures of them done with vinyl or tolex but I have seen a picture where one had a grill.
