My BFM rig is playing tonight at 43 deg south lattitude, GMT+13, off 240V. 1 plug is running LED lights, stage and FOH.

Re: Nexo Sub
I hit 138.5dB last night with screamo band with backline, lights and PA on one socket.
measured in middle of dancefloor, about 7m from each stack. Maybe a tad too loud... :/ but i'm getting curious to hear this oft quoted 'being able to hear when the tops are struggling.' still havnt heard it. Maybe at 140dB?

Yeah, BM, man, but what a way to go, though, eh?! Death by SPL! Every molecule in the body split asunder. Just a pool of liquid and minerals left on the floor.
Dave, wonder what Jimmy Shand (famous Scottish accordionist for non-kilty folks) would sound like played at that sort o' level!

+1 on that, bro!Dave Non-Zero wrote:They sound a bit waffley for me.
20ft x 40ft bar and it took wall loading and DSP, outboard EQ, plus my mixer to get them to be right. But we defo got the best out of them.
Wouldn't run to use LS1200s again.

Re: Nexo Sub
Goodness only knows what room nodes you were contending with in a 20 x 40 room, I wouldn't condemn the subs outright.
On the basis of the gig we did last week in a 60 x 60 room, wall loaded but not enough sound checking before the gig, I could describe my own T48 as a bit on the waffley side
Won't make that mistake again.
