I haven't pushed them too hard but at about 20v peaks during real music playback I was getting 124db at one's mouth and 120db at the driver seat.
The speakon connector sticks out a few inches so it obviously needs to be flipped. Can't you still face them both to the back still? The horn mouths won't be lined up, but I would suspect that would matter even less than they way you have them pictured above.
I needed to make the other with the access cover on the opposite side (or at least put the speakon through the opposite wall) and this all would have been avoided.
