I got my tweeters from blue aran, dirt cheap when you buy 44. I think they came down to 70p each, got a couple of dudes but at that price you can get extra. They are only cheap chinese ones but i think they sound ok with a bit off EQ!

Two DR280 melded array. In defence off them I do have 200 pound plus compression drivers in the MT102,s to compare with them and i,m happly for the money! :hyper:
The Goldwood ones may be better, I do,nt know not tryed them.

If they are anything like the cheap piezos I've got, you will need to take out more5k than a 31 band eq can manage. :(
-1 for thought terminating cliches.

Built and/or own:
8 x T48 24" 3015LF
6 x DR280
2 x DR250 old style beta10
2 x T36s 20" delta15L
1 x TAT
1 x dual Lab12 30" T60

In Progress:
2 x DR280

ah right thats not so good, can you get some 31 band eq's that have more db reduction than others?
If not if i got the DEQ would that compensate enough?

Just get the the berry drive rack that should cope. Nota bad price at 200 pounds, and you get three channel crossover as well.

As you can see i use very crude methods of clamping! this is because i only have one clamp! If i attempt a titan build in the future i guess i will have to invest! Oh and i only have a jigsaw, some hand saws, a couple of hand files, sandpaper and a plane.

I've built a couple of Jack 110s that have short flat arrays. I used the Pulse piezos from CPC Farnell.
The speakers sounded way better than the Wharfedale Titans that I had even when just using the graphic in my PA mixer amp to EQ.

I'm just down the M56 from you, near Knutsford. PM me if you'd like to come and here them.
