Speakerhardware review - resellerratings.com

#1 Post by bzb »

After another fantastic experience with Speaker Hardware, I was kind of surprised when I was comparison shopping for the 3012LF: Speaker Hardware isn't listed in Google products, even though SH's price is the lowest of the bunch when you factor shipping.

I submitted Speaker Hardware for a listing on resellerratings and left a review. If you've placed an order there, I suggest you do the same. Reviews will bump SH into Google and Bing product searches.

Of course, this might be additional business that Leland might *not* want

Thank you. I haven't a clue about all the various stuff you can do on the net to optimize your results. My site has been seo optimized more than once, but really getting it out there is hard and expensive either in time or $.

I'm too busy making and shipping stuff, and too cheap to pay somebody else to do it.

That stellar customer service has to be eating up some time too!! It doesn't get any better. Speaking of which, the eagle laid an egg in my bank account at midnight and I have some stuff to order for these wedges. I'll be talking to you soon and I will do my part on the review end!

No problem - totally understand the too cheap part :D I'm just buttering you up to activate that special coupon code.

The SEO stuff isn't really that hard, but it does take a little bit of time to investigate. Getting SH listed on Google and Bing Products is probably one of the best things for the site. Just need more reviews!

I think you can actually go on resellerratings and claim the listing now. You'd also want to hit up Google and Yahoo local (YellowPages is also free and will list you on multiple directories) if you haven't done that yet.

If you can automate it when the product ships, request a review from your customers, or when the product is delivered. Although, IME, getting a review out of people when the service is good is like pulling teeth. If you suck, people want to rage ;)

Not so hard to post a review. You just have to trust them with your email address but they promise not to spam you. Takes all of 5 minutes if you're slow with computers like me.

If you have time leland, track down a copy of Timothy Ferris's The Four Hour Work Week. While a good read in and of itself, there is a section devoted to using google adwords and PPC (pay-per-click) advertising and a small tutorial on how to optimize it.

There is a surely other guides you could look up. The good thing about google is that you can limit how much you pay per week/month/whatever and your ad just gets cycled out once you reach your limit until the next period starts.

Don't know if you know about PPC, just thought I'd let you know about it if you didn't. Might be useful.

All the best.

Drop shipping might actually save you money, or at least sanity. :chainsaw: :? :D

I do drop ship occasionally, mostly when I'm out. Eminence gets me for an additional 10 bucks to drop ship though.
Thanks for the book tip, I'll get it. I've done adwords before, but it's been quite a while. I have read a couple of books about internet marketing, the names escape me now. Primarily they were about how to use social networking. Which take LOTS of time to do right, but I'm giving it a go.

I just can't seem to find it. Pretty sure Walternate (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1119644/) has had his shapeshifters lift it.

The consequences for crossing over are great. There's no telling how many parts you'll be compelled to send out to me for free.

On a serious note, enter in 3012LF into Google Shopping. That was freaking quick. I need to sell an actual product to get my site up there!

Search engine had evolved, so many competitors for page rank. I suggest you title your page according to the product's name precisely, don't make it too wordy, as it will work against you, search engine will treat it with lesser relevance. Look at parts express as an example. Their search result mostly in the top 10 if not 5's. For example, the driver "3012LF" will have a page title as "Eminence Kappalite 3012LF Neo 12" Driver". Even bhphotovideo.com sells speaker and their page rank high, because of this same reason. Start with that and it will work out for you.

This is how I optimize for my web clients. It's very effective, and you can do it yourself.
