I have no real need for them right now but I had to finish to the point where they could be tried out.Took them out to a farm to do an outdoor test.
2 T24, 16" Bp 102, 2 DR200, old style curved inner horn, melded array,
Yamaha P2200 for subs, P2050 for DRs , DCX for control.
Tried to take some measurements Pink, Swept etc but a bit windy so I think my recording is a bit off.
I didn't have my limiter set
Had made some changed in settings on the DCX and my volt meter was 2 hours away, but I knew the peak meters on the Yamaha pretty well and I didn't push it, just wanted to hear them turned up a bit.
Had made some changed in settings on the DCX and my volt meter was 2 hours away, but I knew the peak meters on the Yamaha pretty well and I didn't push it, just wanted to hear them turned up a bit.My first impression was "the bottom is OK but not impressive, O wait one of the subs banana plug is reversed, Now that is OK for 2 10" speakers with a 30 year old amp." Not chest thumping but nice full bottom end and this is outdoors too.
Now for the DRs. I am so pleased with these, clear, transparent, LOUD with a 50 watt amp.
Now to try and get some better measurements and set some eq in the DCX.
But over all quite pleased,
Maybe now more DRs, T39s????
