Probably not a good idea because it would be too symmetrical with the round driver cone, making for uneven response.

Quite badly, as you couldn't make an airtight seal between the horn panels and baffle. Square pegs into round holes will not go.

The opening would be too small, bass response would suffer.

Yes, like that. I asked this before but nobody must have noticed. I don't have current plans, does the OT12 have a similar baffle now?

Sweet. At that price it's worth not having to take the time to make it myself. Of course, it will probably be next summer before I am ready to start them. Wish I could build during the winter. :(
