Pic. 1 Just got all the parts in and from your PM's and your video I was able to figure it out with no problem and came up with this test rig
I used the dayton T-amp for my source (on sale) and an iphone app for the test signals, an spl meter for the mike (I wanted a good one anyway)
Pic. 2 Look at the pink noise, it does not look like yours, has a peak?
Pic. 3 here is a sweep with the peak hold on for the pic (some of the lower freq. was noise from me, sensitive mic I guess?)
Pic. 4 This is another app that is supposed to check for correct polarity called speaker pop, it sends these clicking noises and either gives a + or a - sign only thing is it showed mine was reversed, is this common? have only tested one tweeter, I just wanted to get this set up for now so I can't compare this graph to others yet
Anyway I just wanted to thank you again for the help, Gil

Have you had a chance to test any more tweeters? How has it worked out for you?

tested all 72 of them and found that 44 of them tested at the high end of the output range or 94+ db while 16 of them were around 92 db and 10 of them around 89 to 90 db while 1 was at 82 db and another had little output in the 2 to 3 khz range as far as the phase test it does not seem to work as all tested were exact oppositeZack Brock wrote:Have you had a chance to test any more tweeters?
