Re: Laser Aiming Guide
If you were to go this route, why go through the trouble to attach a laser to each cabinet? Battery maintenance would be a hassle. A hole drilled in a block of wood on each cabinet that can snugly hold a laser pointer would work. Then just insert your pocket laser pointer into the hole, aim cabinet...

Laser Aiming Guide
Folks, Honestly don't know if this has been done before--I did a quick search of the forum for "laser" and mostly came up with posts about show lighting. So, anyway, why not add a small laser unit to the front of each cabinet? Small switch and two AA batteries and suddenly positioning the ...

Re: Ashly Protea DSP Sytem Processor- Impressions?...
Wanted to jump in and say that the Bunker BPD-1 sounds really nice. Has the features one would expect, and all of that, with the 4 way cross over and blah blah. What has saved my bacon, though, is the unit's flexibility. Once I had to use the thing as a clean pre-amp in addition to all the other stu...

Did you visit http://overmindstats.com? Or maybe http://tk0y0.com? We had a lot of fun with this. Ordered life size cardboard standees of all the human-sized robots and a giant vinyl wall-cling of the Bot-Tron Overlord.LelandCrooks wrote:That's really fun and funny.

Totally off topic: Just finished (re) setting up a TINAG (This Is Not A Game) for I created for a former employer. We took some of the most boring information in the world, hired a friendly artist, and made Compliance Training Material that is actually fun to read. Because everyone knows that Cyber ...

Re: Behringer EP vs iNuke vs Peavey IPR
Pick a frequency, say 60 Hz sine wave. ... If you don't think this is going to max out amp voltage, select different frequencies. Would it make sense to pick 3 (or 5) "forum standard" frequencies, say: 40, 60, 80, 100, and 125 or whatever? I guess then take an average or the highest, mayb...

Re: Thoughts on the Bunker BPD-1 please
Regarding our BPD series, we have two models BPD1 and BPD0. Arath Wow, Arath, you found us. I think this board is most interested in the BPD-1 in comparison to the DBX PA+ and the Beringher DCX. It might be most helpful, if you were willing, to consider an evaluation unit to a few volunteers who cu...

Re: Thoughts on the Bunker BPD-1 please
The processed audio's still in English, right? Yes, but there is a distinct accent..... Great for salsa music. Seriously, though, I contacted the company en espanol to see about an evaluation unit. They do light controllers, power distro, and make a ton of amps. I wonder what the exchange rate is o...

Well, I'm curious. Anyone have a desire to do an evaluation? Particularly someone (unlike myself) with a DBX or Beringher to compare.

Looks like there are three on ebay right now. They are touting Burr-Brown ICs in the posting. I don't know what to think about it.

Until recently I visited Chesterfield all the time (consultant with Burns & McDonnell Engineering). However, my wife is from that area, so we make the trip now and again.Haysus wrote:I gig fairly often in the St. Louis area if you ever make up north.

Hey neighbor. I get to Table Rock on occasion, this weekend as a matter of fact. If you want hear some gear my DR250 T39 rig lives in a local bar here. Only a couple of hours. :cowboy: Are you heading back over the next few months? I doubt I'll have a spare weekend for several weeks, but I am reall...
