it MIGHT be a little bit of over kill, but it is now well braced and I really like how the round-over looks. Now to clean out the shavings.

On a related note.. has anyone actually covered these with vinyl or tolex? or does everyone paint or duratex them?

I had some 1x6 laying around and had run out of plywood so this is what I did

I have it rough cut right now but I am installing it tomorrow. (ran out of sunshine) I check for air leaks before I install the braces just so i can reach some areas in the horn.

Just finished the first few steps and now i am waiting on glue to dry and then cutting more wood and more of the same tomorrow. I will post pics soon.

Apparently my 1 and 4 look too much alike after a 20 hour day. So yeah it was off by 3 inches. Triple checked all measurements this time and got a second set of eyes to confirm measurements. All better Like I said this in the learning curve and I do not take offense to someone telling me I am doing ...

I drew the 1/2 in line on the wrong side but its fixed now.
