New Drivers for Sale
New for sale, emptying my storage unit and have to get rid of my stock. I have had these stowed away for over a year and I have no need for them, old projects. I am located in NYC and can arrange to meet within a reasonable distance. I prefer not to ship unless you are ok with shipping and assume th...

Re: T45 Complete!!!
I think this can be an easy fix by using the correct ring on top of the existing one. My question is, is there any harm in doing so? So long as the driver will still fit into the cab that's OK. Otherwise you'll have to chamfer the existing spacer. Yes, there is about 1" of clearance. Thanks Bi...

Re: T45 Complete!!!
PROBLEM!! I am hearing some cone noise but only when pushing >30 volts. I think I mixed up my spacer rings from another build. I know the rings inner diameter is only out by 1/8" which explains why I would only hear the noise at higher volumes. I think this can be an easy fix by using the corre...

NICE!!!! Mark Tested, BFM approved.Mark Coward wrote:I never liked the corners either. And I'm the guy that had a T48 fly out of the back of a pick up while traveling at 60mph. Baltic birch, duratex, no corners. It was skint up pretty good in a couple spots, but still worked fine.

Re: T45 Complete!!!
My half completed Otop fell from 5 foot up (it was weighting down the top of another one during attachment of the top). It bounced on a corner and no damage caused apart from a bit of compression on the ply (4mm). Corners would have helped, but it was to early in the build to have them installed!! ...

Re: T45 Complete!!!
I have thought about the sliding skids for some time... I think I'll add them to my T48s. I just have to remember to place them far enough apart to accept a standard hand truck. I believe Leland has some available on his website. You could also use any black polypropylene cut down to size like this...

Re: T45 Complete!!!
Unfortunately, most 100-pound cabs falling from 3 feet directly onto a corner are going to wind up smashed. Corner protectors are designed to protect the corners from getting bashed up while wheeling them around, sneaking through narrow doorways, stacking them in the truck, etc. I'd have been surpr...

Re: T45 Complete!!!
Looks nice!! Helps protect the edges and corners from small dings and dents in the case that you don't want to use metal or plastic corners on your cabinet finish. Had a guy here in Nashville that's on the road all the time who hates the metal and plastic corners. Slows down his load ins and outs. ...

Re: T45 Coming soon!!!
What is the "Super glue on the corners trick?" Super gluing the corners on instead of using screws? I don't see the point in that. Clue me in. The trick is to soak the bare wood edges with super glue before applying duratex. Allow to dry and the glue penetrates a mm or so into the wood an...

Re: T45 Coming soon!!!
Had a chance this past weekend to give the T45 a workout. In all honesty, it was probably overkill for an end of summer BBQ in a 20x30 foot patio area of which 15x10 was partially enclosed. This is where I corner loaded the T45 and a one of my Pro SLA's, the other out on the open side of the patio f...

Re: T45 Coming soon!!!
Looking very good there Daniel! But i cant help but thinking the handles on the bottom should be the other way around. I thought about the same thing but after hauling my cabs enough times, I went with what I thought was the more comfy position on my hands from multiples angles. I also wante...
