Re: What's to chat about?

But, that's just me. And, I'm different... apparently. You too? We should converse openly. Agree and disagree. Discuss stuff. I enjoy all of you and relating to all of you. Isn't it incredible that we're spread across the globe and we're all here at the same place, thanks to this website? (th...

OOPS, that may have been on TorqueTest channel. (pixie) R...

Re: Jack 12 Lite cut sheet?

I like https://www.cutlistoptimizer.com/ Free, and allows you to account for saw kerfs and grain orientation. The same can be said for Cutlist, as posted by Bruce. :) One can add all the needed panels in one list, and all the supply part(s) in another list, and it will calculate the best pattern to...

Re: What's to chat about?

Have a parallel kit to tie my two inverter generators together, 30A output. Well. there was a rabbit hole! I found a couple of sites about how to do that. I can't verify the accuracy of them but they seem reasonable. https://www.generatorszone.com/connecting-generators-parallel/ https://www.t...

Re: What's to chat about?

Seth, I figured out how to do it with the calculator provided by Ubuntu 20.04. I first had to enter log, then the power figure and then equals... after which I multiplied by 10, and added that to the original db.

I figured that the nearest 10 was enough (for me).

Any takers on an old school "word problem"?

How much power would it take a speaker with 98dB average sensitivity to match the output of a speaker with a 102dB average on 125watts?
310 watts. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
