I carpet all my road cases and I think they look really well and can take a beating and still look good. If you plan to carpet in the future, I would suggest the backed carpet but keep in mind it wont stretch much and is harder to cut. If carpeting is done well it looks really good, but the downside...

It looks kinda neat for clamping angle cuts together but for where it clamps it seems it would be covered in PL constantly...Neat idea though

Before working with PL, paint, etc: Lotion up your hands with something very oily - vaseline, bag balm, etc. Basically if your hands are oily, then the PL has a hard time sticking, since PL cures with water in the skin. I learned that PL is really bad for your skin the hard way since i am working on some omni tops...Wearing gloves helps a ton...Doesnt make a difference when you use so much PL....Mineral spirits help...also soak your hands in hot soapy water...and then scrub off with a sponge...
