Well that was my thought however, I was trying it with some of the drivers that are used in the tuba subs. I have the plans so I'm not trying to redesign them I was just using that as a reference point. I do that alot of the time to learn a program like this. I guess I would call it hands on algebra...

Can anyone shed some light on this program. I feel like a put the parameters for the driver in and I'm lucky to get a response below 100hz. I know this is something I'm not entering right. I understand how the horns work and such just not sure of what the program is wanting me to give it info wise. ...

I didn't mean the speaker company was making the claim about dampening. The manufacturer of line-x,rhino, and so on make that claim and I just didn't know if that was a good idea or not. just wondering if anyone ever finishes thier cabinets with anything other than duratex. I know some of the companies use line-x(Grubsrof). They should be extremely durable, but I just wondered about the acoustic dampening they brag about affecting the box resonance or other qualities? Anyway, just c...
