Four T39's at 15 inches wide

Did a small club gig lastnight.

The stage (and the club for that matter) were VERY small. The stage was around 10x10, club was long and narrow. At first I had the subs placed in the corner with the mouths faced out, to save some real estate on stage. After the performers were all set, i noticed I had enough room to properly corner-loaded.

It's amazing what a little room acoustics will do. The subs didn't see more then 10vac the entire night. I only supplied subs, as they have a nice QSC powered setup there for tops. I crossed at 90Hz 24db/octave, HP at 45Hz 48db/octave.

Nice and clean the entire night, the only problem I ran into was a very nasty voltage drop (down to 99vac by the end of the night) The last performer had a lot of gear plugged in, my BBE processor kept rebooting at some spikes. The narrow cabs are nice, as load in/out was handled (mostly) by myself. I think the next upgrade is a cube van and some t48's



The only problems the entire night were the voltage drop, and my friend (supposedly) being slipped something. I don't think I'll ever do work in this venue again; a shame really - the promoter has a good thing going.
