Wedgehorn 8s.

#1 Post by Chris Betancourt »

Hey Guys!!! I know I have to calm down and take my time in building any of the BFM projects but its soooo addictive. One you start your can't stop (I didn't even take the time to take pictures during the process) working on any of the boxes WUW! I started on them monday and finished on friday and whats left is the the duratex. 5 DAYS BUILT. And I uesd them this weekend, I'm such a Happy Camper :hyper: These babies are nothing short of amazing. I got a 12" floorwedge and for a 8" (WH8) to compete with WOW! But the WH8 cut alot better on stage and feedback reduced or almost eliminated completly. Now I don't think I need my EQ's anymore  Nah I would never get rid of my EQ's I would use them alot less now but I won't get them out of the rack.

You need 4 monitors to complete your PA, David. Might as well build all 4 at once. After doing 4 DR200s, it will be a piece of cake.

I used to slate the W8 for it's sound - never liked it. However, as a stage monitor, I now think it's fantastic.
