Just put the auto tuba I built close to two years ago in a car.
It's about 20lbs lighter then the dual 10 inch set-up it's replaced. It puts the duals to complete shame. I didnt have any bass test cds, but I did have my sister's Bjork collection ( some low hitter in there)
The most musical car sub I've ever heard. None of my friends believed me when I said it was just a single 8 inch (I choose the tangband 8 over the MCM, back when the tang was on sale)
I'm more then pleased with it. I'm contemplating building a dual 10 inch version for my VW (it's a hatch)
Simply amazing...

Re: Auto-Tuba
Curious... what crossover point did you pick?

Re: Auto-Tuba
honestly, I dont know
I just plugged it into one side of the amp that the kenwoods used, and went with it. I'm thinking around 80Hz, I'll check nexttime I borrow the car.
