been and purchased from these guys today http://www.lathamtimber.co.uk/ at the wigston . 3mm £5.50 5x5, 6.5mm £14.40 8x4 and 12mm £19 8x4 prices exclude vat but they're at least 10 quid a sheet cheaper on the 12mm than the best quote i had from all the other places i tried. :hyper:

That was a fantastic find.

It would be really handy if you could confirm what grade you obtained or what they put on your invoice so I can request the exact same product. I've been paying double that plus VAT at my usual supplier. Very helpful guys, but boy is it pricey.

Learn your wood pricing, and stock up when you find a steal.
It will never get cheaper..
My biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my toys for what I said I paid for them.
